The episode begins with Karthik meeting Karan, who invites him for a drink. Karthik refuses, reminding Karan that he once blackmailed him into marrying his sister. Karan apologizes, claiming his actions were for his sister’s happiness, and convinces Karthik to drink with him. Unbeknownst to Karthik, Karan secretly spikes his glass, hoping to uncover the truth about his past.
As the drink takes effect, Karthik grows dizzy and emotional. When Karan probes further, Karthik confesses that he once loved a woman who betrayed him—and finally admits her name: Lakshmi. Shocked, Karan realizes the truth.
Later that night, Karan confronts Lakshmi at gunpoint, demanding to know why she hid her marriage to Karthik. Lakshmi defends herself, insisting her personal life is none of his concern. During their heated argument, the gun accidentally fires. Furious yet frightened, Lakshmi refuses to answer his accusations, but Karan insists that her eyes still hold love for Karthik. He then reveals a compromising video and blackmails her into obeying his orders.
The next morning, Lakshmi arrives at a location Karan mentioned, unaware of his plan. Meanwhile, Dadi arranges a pooja to fix Karthik and Barkha’s wedding date. As the rituals begin, Karthik hides his turmoil, thinking about Lakshmi. When Dadi asks about Karan, no one can reach him.

When asked about his bride, he calls for her to enter. A veiled woman steps forward, and to everyone’s shock, it’s Lakshmi. Karan confidently introduces her as his wife, leaving the entire family—and especially Karthik—frozen in disbelief as Lakshmi lifts her veil.
