Neel confronts his family, declaring he feels unwelcome and sidelined — humiliated by past incidents, excluded on his birthday and introduced casually as a “cousin” by Ishana. He accuses Mangal of favoritism and announces his intention to leave the house. Kusum intervenes, insisting Neel is the family’s eldest son and must stay; Adit decisively backs her, ordering Neel to remain.
In a private exchange, Kusum admits slapping Neel in front of his friends was wrong, but Mangal blames him for provoking the situation. Kusum urges Mangal to treat Neel as her biological son and calls out the double standard that excuses Ishana while punishing Neel. Adit supports Kusum’s plea.

Sowmya attempts to soften the tensions and persuades Neel to apologize. Neel kneels before Mangal and offers a heartfelt apology, promising to change. After initial skepticism, Mangal accepts his contrition and embraces him, with Kusum pressing for family reconciliation.
Ishana reacts angrily to the forgiveness, accusing Mangal of shifting loyalties and rejecting Neel’s apology as insufficient. Neel, however, refuses to apologize to Ishana after receiving his mother’s forgiveness, further inflaming the rift. Ishana lashes out, saying she is hurt and betrayed.
The episode closes on a darker note: unseen by most, Sowmya deliberately pours acid on a houseplant and vows revenge, threatening to use the children as pawns to make Mangal lonely. The outward reconciliation masks unresolved resentments and an emerging vindictive plot that promises more conflict ahead.
