The episode opens with Lakshmi tying Karan to a chair. She confronts him for mixing salt in the kheer served to Karthik. Karan responds sarcastically, leading Lakshmi to put salt in his mouth as punishment. She warns him to stop troubling her, but Karan insists she has no choice but to stay and adds that he will stop only when she stops caring for Karthik.
Meanwhile, Bhavani and Vyom provoke Barkha, suggesting that Lakshmi and Karan are trying to create distance between her and Karthik. Barkha refuses to believe Karan is at fault and blames Lakshmi instead.
Dadi prepares for Lakshmi’s Mu Dikhai and asks a servant to provide a saree for her. Barkha offers to deliver it personally and secretly tampers with Lakshmi’s blouse to embarrass her during the ceremony.
During the Mu Dikhai, Karan and others participate in Antakshari. Lakshmi sings a sad song, prompting Karan to reassure her before singing a happier tune. Barkha performs with Karthik, but Karthik unexpectedly sings a sorrowful song, indicating emotional conflict.
While everyone dances, Karan notices Lakshmi’s blouse coming undone and quickly covers both of them with a cloth to fix it discreetly. The family misinterprets the moment and gossips. To avoid Lakshmi’s humiliation, Karan claims it was part of a dare. Dadi scolds him, and he leads Lakshmi away.
Lakshmi questions his behavior, but Karan insists he was only protecting her. Later, Karthik is troubled while recalling the moment and accidentally burns his hand. Barkha consoles him, unaware of his emotional turmoil.
